Freddy’s in Powell opens Thursday
POWELL, Tenn. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Thursday, July 27, at 221 E Emory Rd. across from Kroger. The opening marks the fourth Freddy’s location in the Knoxville metro area. Freddy’s also has a new location on track to open later this year in Knoxville on Kingston Pike. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“This will be our fourth location in the Knoxville metro, and we have additional sites planned for the area in the future,” said Bob Rasberry, franchise owner. “Starting with our newest addition in Powell, we hope to achieve a closer presence to local FredHead fans in the area, as well as those who haven’t yet visited Freddy’s.”
The 3,030 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 102 guests, has additional seating on the patio and drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
