Freddy’s second West Columbia location opens Tuesday

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 1309 Charleston Hwy. The opening marks a second Freddy’s location in West Columbia, joining the Freddy’s restaurant on Sunset Boulevard. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“With our newest addition on Charleston Highway, we hope to achieve a closer presence to many of our local fans in the area, as well as reach those who haven’t yet visited Freddy’s,” said Brett Rickert, franchise owner. “We’re excited to enter this dynamic neighborhood and bring delicious, cooked-to-order food to the surrounding businesses and residents.”

The 2,193 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 48 guests, has additional seating on the patio and drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
