We expect you to take the time to get to know us just as we will take the time to get to know you. Below is an overview of 10 steps you can expect to take when becoming a Freddy’s franchisee.

Steps to Becoming a Franchisee


Complete and submit the Franchise Information Request Form online.

Speak with one of our dedicated franchise development team members, who will also send you a copy of our company Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).



Perform your due diligence as you would with any business or financial investment opportunity and receive answers to any questions you may have.

Secure Freddy’s approval for meeting the franchisee qualifications.



Schedule a Discovery Day visit to Wichita to meet with Freddy’s executive leadership team and department heads .

Finalize your desired territory, number of restaurants and initial timeline with Freddy’s, and review and execute a Development Agreement for the best experience and success.



Work with Freddy’s real estate department to secure locations and site acceptance.

Work with Freddy’s construction team to commence construction on your first Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurant.



Begin management training and start drafting marketing plan after introductory phone call with Freddy’s marketing department.

Celebrate your first Freddy’s restaurant with a successful grand opening!
