Fast casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, brings back in 2015 two of its most popular seasonal menu items from last year, the Hatch Green Chile Double Steakburger, and the Funnel Cake Sundae. Both items will be available July 9th 2015 through September 2nd 2015 at participating Freddy’s locations.
To craft the Hatch Green Chile Double Steakburger, Freddy’s lean beef patties are topped with famous New Mexico Hatch green chiles, grilled onions, cheese, mustard, and served on a toasted bun. Or, enjoy Hatch green chiles on any Freddy’s hot dog.
The Funnel Cake Sundae is made with a scoop of freshly-churned, vanilla frozen custard on a warm funnel cake topped with powdered sugar and strawberries. Or, feel free to choose another of your favorite Freddy’s toppings instead of strawberries.
“We made sure to do a countdown on social media this year, because so many of our guests wanted to know if the Hatch green chiles and the Funnel Cake Sundae were going to make a return,” said Scott Redler, Freddy’s COO. “The excitement is amazing.”
